Rules for the Cross Stitch Charts and Patterns

Since I'm giving away all of my cross stitch charts for FREE, please read and follow these simple rules. Thanks!

These free charts were all designed by Carrie Luhmann Pieniozek. You may print them and use them for your own personal use, and may copy them for other people. You may also use them for teaching purposes. However, they may NOT be sold or kitted. Please do not use these charts to put on your own web page, and DO NOT link to each chart directly, using my server. If you want visitors to your site to see my charts, link to my site.

Older patterns (created before Sep 2007):

To save the patterns to disk, click the right mouse button over the picture and chose "save picture as" from the dialogue box.

The cross stitch patterns have a color key that is an image you can save, along with saving the pattern itself.  All colors are represented for DMC floss. If you need an Anchor to DMC conversion chart, visit the cross stitcher's tools page. There are a few charts, such as the alphabet charts, that do not have color keys. Use any colors you wish for these cross stitch patterns.

All patterns are designed for 14 count Aida, but you can use any size you like. The Teeny-Tiny Charts are shown with larger squares than my other charts, so they are great for beginners or for those who do not like the smaller squares. Please note that when you stitch them, they will end up much smaller than they appear on your screen.

Newer patterns (created 2009 and later):

Starting in January 2009, all new patterns will be in the Adobe Acrobat format. You can download the free reader here. This will allow me to create patterns that are much larger and more detailed than the ones I have created in the past. Patterns will no longer have to be small enough to fit on one screen and print on one page. Most computers will have the Adobe software already on them.

Since 1998, I have been making and posting patterns for cross stitchers all over the world to download, free of charge. I have owned my own dedicated server to assure that the site is always up and running. My current hosting expense for this server is approximately $200 per month. This site will continue to remain free to use, but if you feel that you have benefited from this site and would like to make a donation (of any amount), you can use the Paypal button below. Thanks for your support!
