Meet The Designer
Hello, and welcome to www.freepatternsonline.com! I am Carrie Luhmann Pieniozek, the designer of the free cross stitch and quilt patterns you will find here. I started cross stitching when my mother taught me at only 6 years old. It has been a passion of mine ever since. I began my website to give away free cross stitch patterns in August of 1998 and have been very pleased with the way it turned out. I decided to add the quilting section in October of 2000 because of my new love of quilting, and the interest I had from stitchers who visited my site. I live in Northern Michigan in the United States, am married, and had my first child in October 2004. I will try to come up with new and exciting cross stitch and quilt patterns as often as possible and I will do my best to keep the website up and filled with fresh content.
